Chobe and Okavango (Botswana)
Chobe National Park (Kasane – Botswana)
In the far North of Botswana, near the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, is the northern border of the world-famous Chobe National Park. This is home to some of the last great wildlife herds of Africa.
In addition to the great animal herds and the large numbers of predators there is a variety of antelope, including the rarer species. Hippo, crocodile and an abundance of game and bird life inhabit the waterways of this river system.
Activities include game drives in open vehicles, and of course the most famous of all: the boat cruise on the Chobe River.
Moremi Game Reserve (Okavango Delta Botswana)
One of the last true wilderness areas of Africa! Papyrus islands, secret channels and waterways, where wildlife of every sort can thrive.
Activities include trips by “Makoro” (the traditional means of water transport), walks in the Moremi game reserve and boating through the waterways. The Big Five (excluding the Rhino) are regularly sighted, with a broad section of African Plains game and wild dog in abundance. Chiefs Island has one of the largest remaining populations of the larger Carnivores. This is Paradise!!
Mocambique
Mocambique is home to some of the most exquisite coastline in the world. Stunning beaches, excellent diving sites, with its fast developing infrastructure of roads and air links, it is truly a favored destination for those who seek a idyllic tropical holiday.
Below a few top Mozambican destinations, but there are many more!
Combinations with Zimbabwe and South Africa require some creativity but can surely be done, like so many of our previous visitors have experienced.
Bazaruto Islands – Vilanculos (Mozambique)
Azure waters, endless beaches of pure white sand, palm trees and stunning coral reefs and an extraordinary variety of marine life…no wonder that the Bazaruto tourism area is the tourism heart of Mocambique. With almost continuous weather all year round, it’s close to tropical paradise.
Activities are undertaken from either the various excellent lodges on one of the islands or from a choice of more affordable lodges in and around Vilanculos. There are excellent diving and snorkeling opportunities, sailing and fishing, or simply enjoying a drink on the beach is a divine way to enjoy your holiday.
Access by road from Harare is quite long but it is worth it! It is also possible to fly into the international airport of Vilanculos.
Inhambane – (Mocambique)
Follow the footsteps of Vasco Da Gama who christened this wonderful bay “the Land of the Gentle People”. Inhambane is one of the oldest trading ports in East Africa and is home to one of the greatest fleets of the locally made fishing boats better known as “Dhows”. Ponto de Barra offers many types of accommodation near deserted beaches.
Besides diving and snorkeling activities include the “Sea Safari” whereby an array of tropical game fish, sea turtles, whales, manta rays and dugongs are observed.
Inhambane has a small airport. Access by road via the capital Maputo or via Harare in Zimbabwe.
Inhambane is often combined with the Bazaruto Archipelago.
Water Activities
From Victoria Falls you can make one of the most heart-pounding whitewater rafting trips on the Zambezi, or take a more leisurely canoe trip with overnight camps on the shores of the Zambezi.
You can also begin a canoe safari at Kariba, which takes you through the splendours of the Mana Pools National Park, a world heritage site. Highly trained guides will show you wildlife, birds, trees and plants, while you drift or paddle against the backdrop of mountains falling into the lazy wide river.

Cultural Safaris
We have taken many tourists to places hardly visited by foreigners; colourful markets, and local meeting places. Visits to rural African villages are very worthwhile, people are very friendly, and English is widely spoken. Come and enjoy the sights and sounds of the real Zimbabwe!

Zimbabwe is famous for its stone sculptures, many of which have showcased in art exhibitions all over the world. We can guide you to numerous art galleries in the main cities, as well as the thriving art community of Tengenenge, a mere 2 hours drive from Harare.
Game Farms
Zimbabwe’s economy is substantially based on agriculture. Private game farms offer a comfortable alternative to national parks, allowing visitors to enjoy fresh, locally-produced food, warm hospitality and a chance to explore the countryside and see the fauna and flora of Zimbabwe on foot, by horse, car or boat.
